Published Tue, 04 Mar 2025 07:55:48 GMT

As if this season hasn’t already been defined by injuries, the Vikings lost more key players in Sunday’s 30-24 loss to the Detroit Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium. It started with rookie receiver Jordan Addison, continued with tight end T.J. Hockenson, and ended with pass rusher D.J. Wonnum all going down. He recovered a fumble late in the game to make a comeback still feel possible.“He’s a beast,” quarterback Nick Mullens said. “You just have so much trust in him.”That makes the final play for the offense even harder to stomach in hindsight. In the final minutes, the Vikings trusted Jefferson to win his matchup, and he did with relative ease. He was running in open space with a chance to take the l...
