FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Tyedeek W. Hostos, 30, for allegedly assaulting a Correctional Guard at the Washington County Jail. Hostos was charged with second-degree assault and was arraigned in the Washington County Centralized Arraignment. SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Saratoga Springs man was arrested on Monday following a child pornography investigation. Luke Fletcher, 41, is charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child. Get the latest news, weather, sports and more delivered right to your inbox! New York State Police say Fletcher is accused of possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation. He was arrested after an investigation and search warrant was executed at his home in Saratoga Springs on Sunday. Police say the investigation began after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Fletcher was arrested at his home and was taken to Saratoga State Police for processing. NORTH HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Wednesday afternoon, Forest Rangers and New York State Police Aviation responded to an injured hike on the Beckhorn Trail on Dix Mountain. SHANDAKEN, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Forest Rangers in Shandaken requested the help of New York State Police (NYSP) Aviation for an injured hiker approximately 3,300 feet up the trail, and a quarter mile from the Wittenberg Mountain summit. Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Forest Rangers say the terrain was rugged and the location was remote. Get the latest news, weather, sports and more delivered right to your inbox! Rescue personnel hiked up to the injured hiker, a 25-year-old from Brooklyn, while others flew to the Wittenberg Summit. Rescue personnel helped splint the hiker's injured ankle, and prepared them to be hoisted up to the helicopter. At 7:40 p.m., the hiker was hoisted and returned to the Catskill Visitors Center where Shandaken Paramedics gave an evaluation. MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. - Authorities arrested a suspect who ran out of gas during a mid-Missouri pursuit over the weekend. Michael A. Chase, 31, of Independence, Missouri, is charged with several felonies and is also accused of crashing into another car during the pursuit, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Investigators say the pursuit happened on Aug. 25 as deputies attempted to stop Chase for an equipment and registration violation. Chase has a suspended driver’s license and was on parole for resisting arrest and drug charges, per the sheriff's office. Police are searching for three robbers who targeted a home in Encino Monday night while the residents were still inside.The incident was reported shortly after 9:40 p.m. in the 4900 block of Aqueduct Avenue near Haskell Avenue.Investigators determined the intruders entered the home and fled with an unknown amount of jewelry.
