CHICAGO — A man, 19, and two teens were charged with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Cameron Rayford on April 27. Jordan Parks is charged with six felony counts of first-degree murder, attempted first degree murder, possession of stolen firearm and aggravated battery. A15-year-old boy was charged with the same felonies including a count of unlawful us f weapon under 21. Jordan Parks, 19, Another 16-year-old was also charged with the same felonies including unlawful use of machine gun. The boys were arrested Tuesday in the 2900 block of South Federal Street and the 2900 block of South State Street. They were identified by the CPD as the individuals who participated in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Cameron Rayford on April 27. WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) – Williamson County officials said Thursday a mosquito trap sample collected in Georgetown tested positive for West Nile virus. According to the announcement from the Williamson County and Cities Health District, the positive sample was collected from a trap site near Geneva Park at 1021 Quail Valley Drive. The last date a positive sample was collected from this location was October 2022. West Nile virus found in 2 Georgetown mosquito samples WCCHD said this is the first reported West Nile virus positive trap of the 2023 season. It is the earliest that West Nile virus has been detected in a mosquito sample in Williamson County, WCCHED said, since the health district began its mosquito sampling program in 2013. A man riding a bicycle on Colfax Avenue Thursday night in Aurora was killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash — and police are trying to identify the vehicle.The bicyclist died at the scene near the intersection of Colfax and Kenton Street shortly before midnight, according to an Aurora Police Department post on Twitter.#APDTrafficAlert: Officers are investigating a crash between a bicyclist and automobile on Colfax near Kenton.
